2013 Corbell PTA Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship winners

Congratulations Mohammed Adil Danawala and Jared Shamoon

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, Corbell PTA proudly announced the recipients of the 2013 Corbell PTA Endowed Scholarships!  As a result of their high grade point averages, extra curricular activities, and younger siblings who attend Corbell, Mohammed Adil Danawala and Jared Shamoon were each awarded $500 to be applied to their college expenses.  

Scholarship Opportunities

The Frisco Education Foundation provides financial resources to maximize student potential in the Frisco Independent School District through educational programs, student scholarships, and grants for innovative educators.  Corbell PTA established a FEF Scholarship fund in 2008 in order to provide two (2) scholarships each year to deserving Wakeland High School graduating seniors.  Recipients must have a "B" average or better, participate in at least one extra-curricular activity, complete community service hours, and have a sibling who attends or attended Corbell Elementary.  In 2014, the "Corbell sibling" requirement will no longer apply, as the recipients will be Corbell alumni themselves!
