A Letter from the PTA President
Welcome to a new year at Corbell Elementary as well as a new year of PTA! Our children are the number one reason we do what we do, which is to offer more educational opportunities for them to learn, to grow, and to feel confident and loved.
I would like to personally invite you to join Corbell PTA. Please know that joining the PTA does NOT commit you to do anything! Your membership simply makes you an advocate for the students at our school. We welcome you to volunteer and attend meetings when you can, but this is NOT required. Every person has a different capacity to give and be involved, and your membership support is critical to our success.
Each year when you join the PTA, your membership dues and donations to our ONE fundraiser help provide educational programs and fun family events that benefit the students and teachers at Corbell, such as:
• Classroom technology • Classroom support, resources, materials and enhancements • Corbell Carnival • Field Day • Fall and spring book fairs • Classroom parties • Spirit store • Multicultural programs • Family fun events • Library books and resources • An extensive Guided Reading library • Special education advocacy and inclusion |
• An online student directory • Email newsletters • Watch D.O.G.S. program • Reflections Art program • Musical instruments • Teacher appreciation events • Healthy lifestyles programs • STAAR test day snacks • Environmental programs • School wide educational programs: High Touch High Tech, Critterman, and more! • Community spirit events • And MUCH, MUCH, MORE! |
The Corbell PTA strives to bring your child fun, educational, and memorable experiences throughout the school year. I love our school and take great joy in leading our PTA this year– and I would love to have you partner with us!
Kindest regards,
Darian Guevara
